Topics Covered

The curriculum will be age and skill based, during the first meeting the students skill level and capabilities will be noted to create a development plan unique to them. Interested in specific topics? We can focus the camp on just one topic or multiple depending on the student's or groups interest.

Programming

Students will learn the basics of Java programming, and how to use the language to code the robots they build. Scratch programming and Lego Mindstorms is also available for younger students.

Design

Working in the engineering world requires many fine motor skills. Students will gain first hand experience to robotics hardware including motors and power distribution modules. 

CAD and 3D printing

CAD in robotics is essential, students will learn the proper engineering steps from brainstorming to designing on CAD. Students will also be learning the ins and outs of 3D printing.
