TerraEd is a STEM Non-Profit based in Evergreen, San Jose. Specializing in real world skills such as Java programming and Computer-Aided Design, TerraEd provides enrichment classes for all ages, training the next generation of innovators.

Running multiple FTC teams in Evergreen, we are dedicated to provide a range of captivating STEM workshops and classes throughout the year. Our experienced instructors, with over 10 years of immersion in competitive robotics, bring a wealth of knowledge to inspire and educate. We take pride in nurturing innovation and curiosity, aiming to guide and empower the next wave of STEM enthusiasts.

With the goal of students learning hands-on skills, TerraEd has formed multiple FIRST teams and offers coaching services for rookie teams. The FIRST suite of programs (FIRST Lego League, FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Robotics Competition) offers a platform for students to experience a competitive atmosphere while engaging in necessary real world skills such as public speaking and programming. TerraED takes yearly applications for their FIRST Tech Challenge teams and is always looking for eager Elementary grade students for the FIRST Lego League.

What is Terra?

Terra noun. translates to the earth.
Terra derived from the world renowned FIRST Tech Challenge team Terrabats, who continued on to forming the non-profit TerraEd. TerraEd's goal has always been to provide the world with high quality STEM curriculum, while training the next generation of innovators.
